Tucked away in the side of a mountain, surrounded by sheep, this traditional cottage is the perfect getaway. Ardlougher offers spectacular views of the mountains, the ocean, and the beautiful countryside, yet is only a mile from the welcoming village of Ardara. We've been renting the cottage for the past ten years and it's an entirely family-run operation, with both US-based and local hosts to accommodate all your travel needs.

'Ardara - A Tale Woven Through Time' is a new short film about the town of Ardara produced by Lauren McHugh and Natalie Lough in Awake Tourism and written/directed by Ciaran Dorrian. The film speaks to the culture, history, nature and crafts of the town.
